I. The Ministry of Digital Affairs has completed the initial edition of the “Reference Handbook for Open Source Software Applications in the Public Sector.” Through handbook briefings and the sharing of practical cases on the evaluation, adoption, and maintenance of open source software, the handbook aims to assist government agencies in understanding and adopting open source technologies, thereby implementing the core values of open sharing, transparent governance, and public–private collaboration.
II. The key details of the aforementioned event are summarized as follows:
(1) Forum title: “Adoption and Application of Open Source Software: Handbook Briefing and Case Sharing – Feedback Collection Forum.”
(2) Participation format: In-person or online. In-person attendance is limited to 30 participants, with the format selected by registrants.

1. Yilan Session: February 6, 2026 (Friday), Room 206, Jiao-Se Building, National Ilan University.
